<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sadness, we the family of Albini Edouard “Eddie” LeBlanc announce his passing on Saturday, October 8, 2016, after a lengthy struggle with dementia (Pick’s Disease). He was surrounded with love and memories of happier times on a warm, sunny day at the family cottage in Caissie Cape.<br>Eddie was born on December 21, 1951, in Moncton, NB to parents Jeremie and Germaine (Caissie) LeBlanc.<br>He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Beverly (Clouston) LeBlanc, sons Adam, Matthew and Alexander; granddaughter Lauryn Donovan; siblings, Gloria (Ron) Paschal, Joanne (Roger) LeBlanc, and Louis LeBlanc; sisters-in-law Nicki Boyd-Clouston, Sandra (Jamie) Gibson, Janet Clouston and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.<br>He was predeceased by his parents, infant twin sisters Doris and Doreen, infant daughter Amy, parents-in-law William “Bill” and Gwendolyn “Gwen” Clouston.<br>Eddie retired as a Machinist with CN Rail. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, reading and watching sports. Year after year, rain or shine, Eddie could be found wearing his very colourful Hawaiian shirt cooking freshly caught lobster for the family’s annual lobster party.<br>He played, coached and held various offices with the Moncton Football Association, coached Minor Basketball, organized numerous draw dinners and banquets and participated in several Race for a Cure events.<br>In keeping with Eddie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. <br>There will be an evening of remembrance at the Chris Rock, 48 Albert Street, Saturday October 15, 2016 at 4:00pm.<br>A private interment will take place in Fair Haven Cemetery at a later date. <br>In lieu of flowers, donations to the Albert County Food Bank would be appreciated by his family.<br>Arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton, (506) 852-3530.</div>
