<div itemprop="description"><br>Heaven claimed another angel, Alfred (Al) Dollemont, 84, passed away peacefully in the MSICU Department, Moncton Hospital on November 27, 2016. <br>Al was born in Moncton, NB, January 17, 1932, the son of Joseph and Ellen (Hickey) Dollemont. <br> <br>Al’s main job was at the Riverview Fire Department having been a volunteer fire fighter for 4 years and as permanent fire fighter for 22 years. <br>He served a number of years as a member of the Provincial Advisory Committee of Fire Fighting Trade. <br> <br>Al’s main love was for his wife Sandra (Eastwick) and his family which includes daughters; Karen Fullerton (Peter), Kathy Dollemont, sons; Dennis (Kelly) and Shawn (Kerrie). Also, grandsons Mike Read, Mark Read (Felicia), Brent Dollemont, Nicholas Fullerton (Sara), Ethan Dollemont, granddaughters; Tanya Dollemont, Brittany Fullerton, Ashley Dollemont, great-grandson; Carter Read and step-great-granddaughter Callie Thebeau. <br>Also brother-in-law Steve Eastwick (Debby), sister, Mary Arsenault and brother, Gerry Dollemont and many nieces and nephews. <br> <br>Al was soft spoken, private, honest man and was willing to extend a helping hand in any way possible. He was very proud to have seen his children and grandchildren achieve their goals in life, and was always ready to offer praise. During the earlier part of life he enjoyed curling, photography, hunting, (mainly) for the fall colours and team bowling. He really enjoyed Sunday drives in the country with his wife. He also enjoyed traveling to parts of Cape Breton, Ontario, Puerto Rico, Palm Springs, and Vancouver enjoying the Canadian Rockies. <br> <br>Before, being confined to home in wheelchair, for the past 6 years he so much looked forward to seeing hockey and ball games of grandsons. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays. <br> <br>He was happiest when company was coming and always helped with preparation of meals and was known for his seafood chowder on Xmas Eve. Nobody quite knew why it was so delicious. <br> <br>Al was predeceased by his parents, 7 brothers; Joseph, Harold, Andrew, Bernard, Jackie, Arnold, Alfred (1st), 3 sisters: Jessie, Cecilia (Tilley), And Emmeline. <br>We will surely miss him and especially his smile. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, at this time please give to the needy and children’s Xmas wish funds. <br></div>
