<div itemprop="description">MAIN RIVER, NB - The passing of Alfred “Boyd” Englehart of Main River, NB, husband of Norma (nee Robertson) occurred on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at his home in Main River. Born on January 11, 1933 in Lakeburn, NB he was the son of the late Benjamin and Kathleen (Colgate) Englehart. <br><br><br><br>Boyd retired to his favorite place in the country, Main River, after more than 35 years of service as a Federal Government employee. He enjoyed his retirement years fishing, gardening, and woodworking in his spare time. Boyd will be fondly remembered by his co-workers for his quiet, dry, sense of humor. He will be lovingly remembered by his friends and family for his favourite chair beside the wood stove in the kitchen. <br><br><br><br>In addition to his wife, Boyd is survived by his son, Peter (Mary) of Moncton; daughters Debbie Wood (Laurie) of Riverview and Jodi Mattatall (Jon) of Moncton. He is also survived by grandchildren, Andrew, Alex and Kate.<br><br><br><br>Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Wednesday, August 24 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton, NB officiated by the Reverend A. D. Sutherland. A reception will follow. Interment will be held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Extra Mural Nursing who provided loving care and support to Boyd and family during his illnesses. <br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br></div>
