<div itemprop="description">Clark, Audrey, of Monarch Hall, Riverview, formerly of Moncton and Edmundston, passed away on October 11, 2016 at the age of 88. Born in Toronto, ON, on September 20, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth Anderson and cherished wife of the late James C. Clark (1992). She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Carolyn (Robert) Caron of Moncton and Sandra (Brent) Hayes of Gainesville, ON; sons, Peter (Connie) Clark of Brackley Beach, PEI and Kevin (Julia) Clark of Montreal, Quebec; granddaughters, Michelle of Moncton, Jenny and Sara of Ontario, Cathy, Carin and Crissy of PEI; grandson, Michael James Clark of Montreal, Quebec; brother, Keith (Maureen) Anderson of Moncton; sister in law, Ruth Anderson of Montreal; nine great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother Charles; sister Carolyn and a special niece, Audrey Kim.<br><br>Mom was a very busy homemaker. She worked lovingly and tirelessly to provide a very happy life for her family. She was very involved in all of her children’s activities. She was well known for her great cooking and baking. She loved to sew and knit. She did volunteer work in Edmundston for many years, helping with handicapped children. At the age of 16, she was the organist for the Anglican Church in Edmundston and in later years became organist for St. Paul’s United Church. She was also involved in Eastern Star (charter member of Adah Chapter #32 OES) and was an active member of I.O.D.E., U.C.W., church choir and church organizations.<br><br>She moved to Moncton in 1983 and continued to participate in church activities at St. John’s United Church, where she was in the Senior Choir for over 20 years. She also was co-director and pianist for the Cherub’s Choir. She was a member of the St. John’s U.C.W. and served twice on the Board of Stewards. She was an affiliated member of Frank H. Tingley #5, where she held office of organist for several years. She then acted as pro tem organist for Zetland Chapter in Shediac Cape where she was an honorary member. She also assisted as organist at Lakeburn United Church until her health failed.<br><br>She was a volunteer in the geriatrics ward of the Moncton Hospital and received her 20 year pin of recognition. She also worked at McBuns Bakery with her daughter and son in law from 1983 – 1999, where many of the bakery’s products were borrowed from Audrey’s recipe book.<br><br>She touched so many people’s lives with her friendly and cheerful presence and also with her music. We were proud of our mom.<br><br>She loved and appreciated her “family” at Monarch Nursing Home. The family thanks you so much for taking such wonderful care of our mother.<br><br>In mom’s memory, donations may be made to Karing Kitchen or a charity of your choice and would be greatly appreciated.<br><br>A celebration of Audrey’s life will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 in Fair Haven Funeral Home at 10:00am, her family will be receiving friends and relatives from 9:00am until the time of service. Interment will take place in Fair Haven Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB, E1E 3V9, (506) 852-3530.</div>
