<div itemprop="description">Jones, Ethel of Shediac Cape, passed quietly and comfortably surrounded by her family at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on January 4, 2017 at the age of 92.<br>Born in Shediac Cape, NB, December 23, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John-Moore and Ada (Adams) Hanington. <br>Ethel is survived by her children; Joyce (Marven) Taylor, Dorothy (Nelson) Beaumont, David (Nicole) Jones, brothers; William, Allen (Willa), sisters; Margaret Harvey, Mary Rimmer, Florence Hicks, Edie Hanington and Lillian Hamilton.<br>She is also survived by her grandchildren; Stacey, Wesley, Heidi, Jessica, Caitlin, Joshua, great-grandchildren; Austin, Grace, Hunter, Edie, Molly, Coco, Mason and her many nieces and nephews. <br>Aside from her parents, Ethel was predeceased by her husband Donald Jones (2011), great-granddaughter Chelsey and her two sisters; Doris and Muriel.<br>In keeping with Ethel’s wishes there will be no visitation, a funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St. Martin’s in the Woods Anglican Church, 3394 Rte. 134 Shediac Cape, at 2:00pm with a reception to follow in the church hall.<br>Interment will take place in the St. Martin’s in the Woods Cemetery. Donations in Ethel’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice. <br>Arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton, (506) 852-3530.</div>
