<div itemprop="description">Thibodeau, Francis (Frank), passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the age of 88. He was the husband of the late Anita (Boudreau) Thibodeau. Born in Robichaud on February 12, 1929; he was the son of the late Alban Thibodeau and the late Eva Cormier. <br><br>He will be greatly missed by his two sons: Michel “Mike” and André ‘’Andy’’; his brothers and sisters: Raymond (Elaine) of Fredericton, Andréa, Hector (Nicole) and Florine Lirette of Grand Barachois and Darlene (Michel Landry) of Saint-André; his grandchildren: Mario, Mikelle and Justin; his great grandchildren: Yannick, Jayden and Patrick as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.<br><br>Besides his wife, he is predeceased by one sister, Antoinette Thibodeau. <br><br>Shortly after obtaining a bachelor’s in Science from St-Joseph University, Frank joined the Royal Canadian Navy, which allowed him to proudly serve his country for 25 years. After his military retirement, he served his community, both in Shediac and Dieppe, as a police officer. <br><br>A funeral mass will be celebrated at the Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus, 160 St-Thérèse Street in Dieppe, on Tuesday, February 28 at 10:30am.<br><br>The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Georges-L-Dumont Hospital for the great care provided to Frank. <br><br>In memory of Frank, a donation to the charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. <br><br></div>
