<div itemprop="description">Garland, Geraldine of Riverview, NB passed away peacefully at Forest Dale Nursing Home on December 29, 2015 at the age of 70.<br /><br />Born in Port Elgin, NB, June 25, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mabel (Bannister) Garland. Geraldine is survived by cousins; Gerald (Margaret) and Tracy McCully, David Martin, Darrell Martin and Kimberly. She will also be missed by her friends, including The Coneen Family.<br /><br />Geraldine graduated from cosmetology school as a hair dresser but due to allergies could not work in her field. She worked at Eaton&rsquo;s for a few years, then went on to a 24 year career with Canada Post retiring in 2010. Geraldine loved gardening, traveling, photography and getting together with friends.<br /><br />Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Donations in Geraldine&rsquo;s memory may be made to a charity of the donor&rsquo;s choice. <br /><br /></div>
