<div itemprop="description">Estabrooks, H. Emerson of Moncton passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on February 12, 2015 at the age of 88. <br />Born in Midgic, NB, he was the son of the late Harold and Faith (Filmore) Estabrooks. <br />Emerson is survived by his daughters; Joanne McKinley of Riverview, Patricia (Bill) Lambert of Riverview, Karen (Don) MacGregor of Shediac Cape, son Geoffrey Estabrooks of Riverview and brother Borden (Joyce) Estabrooks of Sackville. <br />He is also survived by his grandson Bradley McKinley of Winnipeg, his constant companion Faith Steeves, now of Nanaimo, BC and his many nieces and nephews. <br />Aside from his parents, Emerson was predeceased by his wife Shirley (Berry) Estabrooks, son Robin Estabrooks, sister Lillian Henwood, brothers; Knapp, Parker and Floyd. <br />In his younger days Emerson enjoyed playing golf, baseball, bowling and worked for the Canada Post Inc. for 37 years. He was also a long-time member of the St. John&rsquo;s United Church, where he found great joy singing in the choir, the men&rsquo;s quartet and the men&rsquo;s chorus. <br />In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Aaron Billard, will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday February 17, 2015 at 11:00 am. followed by a reception in The Garden View Reception Room. Interment will take place at a later date in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Emerson&rsquo;s memory may be made to a charity of the donor&rsquo;s choice. <br />Arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton, (506) 852-3530.</div>
