He was 83.Born in Montreal in 1932, Ross worked for many years with BP Canada, and retired from what became Petro Canada in 1988. After his retirement, he moved to Moncton with his beloved wife Leona, to be closer to his daughters Kathleen and Coreen, and his most loved grandchildren, Katelyn, Marissa and Eric.

He enjoyed his retirement with summers spent with Leona at their trailer in Ellenburg, NY, where he was able to keep up with all his friends from Montreal. Winters were spent in Pensacola, Florida, with his two "red heads" - Leona and her sister Joan. He made many friends there and loved fishing and the warmer winters.

He never regretted moving to Moncton, enjoying the friendliness of the city. He was a consummate "people watcher" and loved to talk to people and discover their stories.

He leaves to mourn Leona (nee Kershaw), his dear wife and best friend of 57 years, his daughters Kathleen (Rick MacPherson)Lower Coverdale, and Coreen (David Cooper) Stittsville, Ontario, and his well-loved grandchildren, Katelyn, Marissa, and Eric. Also his brother Frank (Louise),Kelowna, BC, and his dear sisters in law Joan Scott and Loretta Kershaw. Also his many nieces and nephews, and their children. He was Uncle Ross to so many. He was predeceased by his parents Adeline and Robert Hall, as well as his sister Beverly and his brothers Kenny, Rick, and Howard.

A private family service will be held, as per his wishes.
