<div itemprop="description">MacPherson, Janet Juanita R.N. passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Monday January 30th, 2017 at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife of Robert Howard MacPherson. Born in Glenvale N-B on January 31, 1936; she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Myrtle Lounsbury. <br> <br>She will be greatly missed by her two children; Rodney H. MacPherson (Anne) and Janice Lynn Armitage (Dan); her grandchildren: Vanessa (Aaron), Jana (Kevin), Patricia (Jamie) and Michelle; her great grandchildren: Kayle, Shannon, Landon, Cayden and Jordan; her brother: Douglas Lounsbury (Alanna); her nephew: Scott (Amanda); her niece: Jennifer (Chris) <br> <br>Janet worked at the Moncton City Hospital as night supervisor, then went on to become director of Nursing at the Kenneth E Spencer Nursing Home and assistant administrator. She was a member of several dance clubs: the Codiac Dancers, Hub City, Charlie’s Angels and Hoban Heroes. Traveling, needle point and tole painting were some of her favorite hobbies and she loved spending time with her family. <br> <br>There will be no visitation period at the funeral home. Family and close friends are invited to the Fair Haven Funeral Home chapel, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton, for a memorial service that will be held on Friday February 3rd at 2PM. <br> <br>In memory of Janet, instead of flowers a donation to the First North River Baptist Church or a charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. <br> <br></div>
