Margaret Foley
April 26, 1927 - November 1, 2016
It is with deep sadness that the family of Margaret Foley (nee Steeves) announces her passing at the age of 89 on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at The Moncton Hospital. She was a loving wife to Robert (Bob) Foley and beloved mother to sons Robert and Ross.
Born on April 26, 1927, the daughter of the late Norman and Gertrude Steeves (nee Smith) is survived by her husband and sons, brother, Austin Steeves, sister Orris Garland, sisters-in-law Betty Steeves, Elinor Rodgers, brother-in-law Don Bertelsen and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Vernon, Norman, Douglas and sisters, Pauline Shapira, Audrey Blackburn and Joan Bertelsen.
Margaret loved to bowl and did so for several years. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. She will be sadly missed.
In keeping with Margaret’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Friends of The Moncton Hospital or a charity of the donor’s choice.
