<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that the family of Reta Mabel Rogers (Duncan) of Moncton, N.B. announce her passing at the Moncton City hospital, Thursday, June 2, 2016. Born in Charlottetown, P.E.I. September 17, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mabel Duncan. <br>Reta was predeceased by her husband, Stewart (1973) of Sunny Brae and her brothers Sheldon and Clarence Duncan of Charlottetown, and sisters, Edna Seaman, Lona Storey, of Charlottetown and sister Laura Fox of Natick, Mass. <br> <br>She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her much-loved "girls", Susan Rogers (Sandy MacPherson) of Moncton and Judith (Tom) Totten of Burlington, ON.; her darling grandchildren Kimberley (Drew) Stephen, Geoffrey (Kara) Totten and Bradley (Kristina) Totten and great grandchildren Cameron, Ella, Keegan and Reed Totten all of Ontario. Reta is also survived by her sister, Vera Young, of Stratford, P.E.I., sisters-in-law Doreen Duncan of Charlottetown and Olive Mercer of Moncton as well as many nieces and nephews. <br> <br>Reta was a long-time member of Lakeburn United Church, Wesley Memorial United Church and Mount Royal United Church. She was also a dedicated member of the United Church Women (UCW). <br>By personal request, no visitation will be held. A Celebration of Life service led by Reverend Beverly Daley will be held at Fairhaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 11a.m. <br>In lieu of flowers, donations of remembrance to the Alzheimer Society, Heart and Stroke foundation, Friends of the Moncton Hospital foundation or charity of your choice would be appreciated. <br></div>
