Rita LeBlanc
June 19, 1934 - February 10, 2017
LeBlanc, Rita, passed away peacefully at Villa Providence in Shediac, on February 10, 2017, at the age of 82.
Born in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Anida Léger.
Rita is survived by sons, Mike (Claudette), Bernie (Pauline) and Roger (Evangeline); grandchildren, Angie Bourque, Melissa (Jeff Léger) LeBlanc, Tiffany LeBlanc, Ian LeBlanc, and Christopher LeBlanc; great grandchildren, Ryan and Amy Bourque as well as her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Rita was predeceased by her husband Bertin; siblings, Claire Bernaquez, Léonide Léger, Flora Laing, Doris Martin, Aldérice Léger, Alyre Léger, Hélène Léger, Robert Léger, Arcade Léger, Raymond Léger and Lilliane Groulx.
Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Main St, Shediac. A reception will follow in the church hall. Interment will take place in the spring at the church cemetery.
The family would appreciate donations to The Canadian Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research.
