<div itemprop="description">Robb L. Colborne of Moncton, NB, husband of Shirley (Davis) Colborne, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the Moncton Hospital, at the age of 87. Born in Oxford, NS, he was the son of the late Newton and Mary (Robb) Colborne. <br> <br>Besides his wife of 62 years, he will be greatly missed by his children, Kathy (David) Cutler, Stephen Colborne, Sandra Colborne, and Christine (David Keighley); his grandchildren,Andrew Cutler (Gena), Laura Cutler (Jason), and Aiden Keighley; two stepsisters, <br>Barbara Gordon and Eileen Murphy;as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his stepsister, Mary McCully and his stepbrother, Alfred Murphy. <br> <br>Robb was a graduate of Mount Allison University. He had a rewarding and distinguished career as a teacher at Moncton High School. Robb was sociable and engaging and enjoyed interacting with a diverse group of friends old and new throughout his life. He led <br>a full and active life, during which he enjoyed golfing and traveling with his wife Shirley as snowbirds to Destin, Florida. A natural curiosity led him to try his hand at various pursuits including skiing, sailing, cycling and beekeeping. He was a loving husband, <br>father, grandfather and friend. <br> <br>A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Monday, April 17, at 2PM in the Fair Haven Funeral Home chapel (1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton), followed by a reception. <br> <br>The family would like to thank the staff of the Moncton Hospital (Cardiac Unit) for the compassionate care provided to Robb. <br> <br>In memory of Robb, a donation to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br></div>
