<div itemprop="description">NGUYEN THI SÀNH, 94 of Dieppe, New Brunswick passed away peacefully at the George Dumont Hospital on Monday, January 17, 2017 surrounded by loved ones.<br><br> <br><br>Born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam, Thi Sành was the daughter of the late Nguyen Van Sanh and Nguyen Thi Thuan. She is predeceased by her husband Nguyen Van Hoi, her son Nguyen Van Thanh and her daughter Nguyen Thi Vân.<br><br> <br><br>She is survived by her children Nguyen Thi Hai, Nguyen Van Hiep (Lan), Nguyen Thi Cúc, Nguyen Van Hùng (Hanh), Nguyen Thi Kim Xuyen (Vincent Lau), Nguyen Van Hai, Nguyen Thi Thu Hà (Ngoc Pham), nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter.<br><br> <br><br>THI SÀNH was a hardworking, strong resilient women who has devoted her life to her family. She was an open minded, non-judgmental person who courageously left her life in Vietnam at the age of 61 to resettle in Canada to be with her children and to help raise her grandchildren. Bác (Aunt), as she was affectionately called by many, will be missed for her big smile and uplifting spirit which transcended all language barriers and made relatives and friends feel welcomed and special. She found joy spending time in her garden, gently rocking herself in her hammock.<br><br> <br><br>The family will receive condolences at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton, NB E1E - 3V9, Tel: (506) 852 - 3530 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm on Tuesday Jan 31, 2017. A private funeral ceremony will be held by the family shortly thereafter.</div>
