<div itemprop="description">Surrounded by his family, Stephen Ellis Fairweather passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 at the age of 63. <br /> <br /> He was born in Bouctouche, NB. on March 2, 1952 to the late Roy Clifford Fairweather and the late Marion Eva (Armour) Fairweather. He is survived by his beloved partner, Meggin King, his daughters Krista (Mike) Kendall and Julie (Allan Shand) Fairweather; grandchildren; Tyler and Rowan Kendall, Colten, Nathan, Rebecca, and Avery Shand. Also, Meggin's daughters Marla (Jason) Nichols, and Brodie (Philip) Decaire; granddaughter Rhiannon Nichols. His brothers Robert (Sandra) Fairweather and Wallace (Linda) Fairweather, and many, many friends. <br /> <br />Stephen is a retired Bell Aliant employee and will be remembered for his ability to talk to anybody about everything, his active participation in the NBTel Pioneer Network, his love of camping, his sense of humour, his kindness, his love of photography and weather forecasting. He will always be remembered as the easy going friend, companion and Dad with whom you could have a great conversation. <br /> <br />Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 2:00pm &ndash; 4:00pm and 7:00pm &ndash; 9:00pm. A funeral service to celebrate Stephen&rsquo;s life will be held in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. John Perkin officiating.
