<div itemprop="description">Ryder, Stillman of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on April 4, 2017 at the age of 93 surrounded by his loving family.<br>Born in Havelock, NB, September 27, 1923, he was the son of the late Lawrence Harvey and Juanita Mae (Coates) Ryder.<br>Stillman loved spending time with his family. He was an avid sports enthusiast; he loved the Blue Jays, Toronto Maple Leafs and Curling. His favorite card game was cribbage. <br>He was a successful salesman and traveled on the road for many years and was a member of the Maritime Commercial Travellers’ Association.<br>Stillman will be remembered by his son Bryan (Julie) Ryder of London, ON and daughter Dianna (Greg) Johnson of Moncton. He is also remembered as pappy to Lukas (Stacey) Johnson, Talia (Craig) Hughes, great-grandson Austin Hughes and remembered as grandpa to Lindsay (Steve) Wakeam, Lauren Ryder, Carly Ryder and great-grandson Spencer Wakeam also from London, ON. Stillman will also be remembered by his niece Joanne Thompson and nephew Terry Thompson. <br>Aside from his parents, Stillman was predeceased by his wife of 55 years Joan Ryder (Brown) and his sisters; Dorothy Thompson (Stafford) and Irma MacKnight (Bud).<br>In keeping with Stillman’s wishes there will be no visitation, a private service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 2:00pm for his family and close friends at Fair Haven Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Fair Haven Cemetery. Donations in Stillman’s memory may be made to The Arthritis Society Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.<br>A special thank you to his caregivers from Kindred Home Care, especially Anne Marie and Ginette. <br>Arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton, (506) 852-3530.</div>
