After he returned to Canada, he worked on the family farm in Upper Rexton. He later moved to Moncton and worked for Allsco for 29 years. Bill was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion #6. He loved gardening and wood working. Bill was a gentle and generous man, loved by everyone he met. Bill was predeceased by his wife of over 25 years, Marjorie, 3 sisters and 5 brothers. He is survived by his step children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed. A Legion Service and visitation will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2015 beginning at 1 pm, followed by a funeral service at 2 pm, all at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB, E1E 3V9, (506)852-3530.
