Kenneth Colpitts Lowe
October 16, 1929 - March 11, 2014
Lowe, Kenneth C. of Moncton passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on March 11th, 2014 at the age of 84.
Born in Moncton, NB, October 16th, 1929, he was the son of the late George and Nina (Colpitts) Lowe.
Ken worked as an accountant for The CNR for 40 years, served as a volunteer fireman for many years and was a long-time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was very proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with them at their family cottage in Pointe du Chene. He was always a positive example to all, as well as a role model for living a christian life.
Ken is survived by his sons; David (Victoria) Lowe, Bruce (Trish) Lowe, daughters; Judy (Arthur) Eastwood, Janice (Merl) Short, Wendy (Dale) Black, Jennifer (Roland) Cormier, Kimberly (Tim) Barrieau, 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Ken is also survived by his brother Lloyde of Florida, sisters-in-law; Charlotte Lowe, Jane Cassidy, Janny Cassidyof Hamilton, Ontario, and his many nieces and nephews.
Aside from his parents, Ken is predeceased by his wife Kay (Cassidy) Lowe and brothers; Wendell, Osburne, Alexander, George, sisters; Myrtle Ellis, Alice Keith, Muriel Peake, Shirley Ryan and his grandson Michael Black.

Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Friday March 14th, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Saturday at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in Ken’s memory may be made the Alzheimer’s Society, Emmanuel Baptist Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
