<div itemprop="description"><br><br>MacMillan, Elizabeth, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on July 25, 2016 at the age of 90. Born on July 9, 1926 in River Hebert, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of the late George and Ruth Bell. <br><br>She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Donna Small, Diane Yuill (Chris), Wendy Keirstead (David), sisters, Eileen Troester and Ruth Steeves (Lawrence), grandchildren, Jeremy Small (Colleen), Melanie Buwalda (Kevin), Don MacAulay (Jayme), Catherine MacAulay-King (Bill), Jason Keirstead (Rebecca), Julie Pugsley (Matthew) and 11 great grandchildren and her extended family of nieces and nephews.<br><br>In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Don, brother Murray Bell and sister, Jean Morgan.<br><br>Elizabeth lived in the greater Moncton area all her life. She touched many lives as a kindergarten teacher for 23 years. She was an active member of the Lewisville Baptist Church, serving and teaching Sunday school, Women’s Missionary Society, D.V.B.S, Pioneer Girls and Camp Wildwood. <br><br>The family wishes to acknowledge the outpouring of love and support from friends and family during this time. <br><br>A special thank you to the staff at The Briarlea, her home for the past two years for their loving care; also the staff of the Emergency , fourth floor and the Palliative care unit at The Moncton Hospital. <br><br>A private graveside service will be held at a later date. <br><br>If desired, please consider a donation to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Palliative Care Unit, The Alzheimer’s Society or to a charity of your choice. <br><br></div>
